Many of you may or may not know that Jay "J.M." Halls -- better know as rebelracewriter on ElbowsUp.com - suffered a heart attack last Sunday and had been in the hospital. He was there most of this week.

The good news is that he is at home now and doing well, but he will be off work for quite a long time - at least a month.

Now is the time for everybody that had ever had their name mentioned in his write-ups fromt many tracks across the country to dig down deep and help a great guy.

Please tell all your racing friends and neighbors. Let's help our racing friend in his time of need.

There is an account set up to accept your generous donations. Please give what you can afford. He really needs our help.

Send donations to:

Jay Hallas
c/o Candace Dinsmore
126 Goat Creek Cut Off Road
Kerrville, TX 78028

Checks, money orders, gift cards and anything that can be mailed will help. Please make checks payable to Jay Hallas.

Thanks,

Big Al

Most of you do not know Jay was not paid for most of what he did. He got in free to some events and occassionally a free hotel room. He has done almost all of his reporting out of his pocket. He has given to us as a racing community and its is time for us to give back.
I know Jay would apperciate any help. Pleas send what you can and keep him in your prayers.
